元朗 Mango Tree Café 開張後,很多時都在本區滿足泰癮;之不過 Café 與正式 Mango Tree 的食物還是有所不同,前者有點 fusion 而後者較傳統,而這次新出的泰北.清邁的新菜式也是圓方店獨有。

喝一口永遠清甜高質的椰青水後,是時間展開美味前菜環節!由即日至5月底,凡惠顧特選法國餐酒 ($380起),即可免費享用特色前菜,下圖的 Braised Fresh Abalone 鮮鮑魚配泰式辣汁 ($168) 也是其一。鮮鮑魚口感爽彈,青綠色的泰式辣汁香辣味十足,非常刺激又醒胃!

最後一款前菜是 Traditional Pork Skewers 傳統烤肉串配木瓜沙律及糯米飯 ($118),烤豬肉串香口多汁很好吃,木瓜沙律稍未夠香辣刺激,但跟配的糯米飯就煙煙韌韌很有口感。早知就帶同酒鬼老公到訪,邊喝酒邊品嚐免費小吃,想起也覺得爽!

別給賣相騙到,相比前一款紅彤彤的冬蔭功,接下來這款 Clams in Tom Yum Clear Soup 冬蔭清湯大蜆 ($238) 辣度其實更高,但同時又富有大蜆鮮美及椰青水清甜,口味十分迷人!

主菜環節,十分推介這 Marble Goby in Northern Thai style 泰北香茅炸原條筍殼魚 ($298):筍殼魚炸得香脆可口、大部分已起肉非常方便易吃,加上香茅、青檸葉、乾蔥等配料滋味滿分,因此近骨的魚肉也通通不能放過,要預留時間慢慢細味!

接著還有重量級的原隻 Signature Northern Thai Barbequed Chicken 招牌泰北燒雞 ($368),皮香肉嫩,拌以特色醬汁以及兩盅糯米飯上檯,滋味一流又飽肚!凡週一以 OpenRice 訂座,更可享半隻雞七折優惠,折後 $139;同樣有七折優惠的還有週二的馬沙文咖哩羊膝 ($139)、週三的冬蔭清湯大蜆 ($167) 以及週四的辣椒膏炒小八爪魚 ($132)。

其實我一早吃飽,但同場的小朋友食力驚人,所以又加點一份 Crab Meat Yellow Curry in Crispy Bread 咖哩蟹肉農夫包 ($328);這根本就是咖喱蟹的懶人包嘛,黃咖哩內啖啖鮮嫩蟹肉,配上香脆好吃的農夫包,引得大家飽極也一致將它KO了!

來到甜品環節,怎能錯過 Sticky Rice with Mango 香芒糯米飯 ($98) 呢?Mango Tree 用的芒果總是那麼香甜,配上軟硬有致,鹹甜味剛好的椰汁糯米飯,水準還是那麼高,果然是城內最美味的芒果糯米飯!

個人也非常喜歡這裡的 Thai Pandan Layer Cake 泰式斑蘭千層糕 ($78),因為那獨有的蠟燭香椰汁實在非常香濃又特別,當然煙煙韌韌的千層糕口感也是吸引。

另一款絕不能錯過的是 Thai Homemade Ice Cream 泰式自製雪糕 ($68),最推介是椰子味,高度高濃又像真的口味,水準不止冠絕全港,就算在泰國也難找到對手!

Mango Tree 由頭盤、主菜到甜品都是高水準,最後加上清甜足料的 Sago Pudding 椰汁西米糕 ($68),就是超滿足的一夜,完全將 Blue Monday 改寫成 Happy Monday!
